About this course
A role-focused adult-care course on supporting people living with dementia in England. It develops practical decisions across communication, observation and reporting, distress and unmet needs, meaningful activity, assistive technology, family involvement, consent and safe escalation.
Who it is for
Adult-care workers in residential, nursing, home-care, day-service and supported-living settings. The learning is applied within the worker’s role, care plan and local policies.
Course versions
This England route is part of a governed family. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland versions require their own reviewed territory content and should not be inferred from the England course.
